Fall is upon us and it's time to put away our summer clothes and think about what to wear for fall.
As Heidi Klum says on "Project Runway," where fashion is concerned, "You are either in or you are out."
We don't want you to be "out" this fall, so we have some experienced models to show you what's "in" for fall for teens, adults and babies.
Our teen model, Mildred, who models under the name "Lassie," is sporting a hoodie, a teen favorite. Wear it to the mall, to a movie or out for lunch with friends. You are always in fashion.
Mildred, I mean Lassie, is ready for a night out on the town in her Beatles tee and red hot boots. Her "Bats in the Belfry" fascinator is right in character and is perfect for any Halloween party.
This fall, what's in fashion at the library for teens?
Here is an opportunity for teens to show off their Internet skills to adults who need help while at the same time getting much needed community service hours.
Sign up to be a Tech Coach with our partner organization Youth United
or email Dawn at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Adults who are curious about email, Skype and Facebook can sign up at the library for one on one sessions with tech savvy teens. Call us at 425-776-8722.
Email - Oct. 29 at 1pm or 2:30pm
Skype - Nov. 19 at 1pm and 2:15pm
Facebook - Dec. 17 at 1pm and 2:30pm
What's in fashion for adults for fall?
Color blocking, that's what. It's all the rage.
Frederic is ready for anything in this turquoise turtleneck and gold jacket, just right for those chilly fall days
And a jaunty cap and bag comes in handy for those much needed shopping trips to get the latest styles.
No matter what time of the year it is, a crisp, white tuxedo shirt is always in fashion. Frederic is ready for everything from a night on the town to a trip to the library.
Speaking of libraries, it's fashionable to "Book a Librarian."
This is a free library service where adults can make an appointment for a one-on-one session with a librarian or other staff member to learn how to use the catalog, set up an email account, use one of our many databases, such as Ancestry or Heritage Quest for genealogy research, fill out a job application, or learn some other skill.
If you need extra time with us, book it!
Babies also like to be in fashion.
Baby Tarquin shows his Huskies Pride wearing this darling chullo style knit cap and wrap sweater.
And capes are the hottest item in the fall fashion lineup -- even for babies.
This red cape is reminiscent of a classic fairy tale, like "Little Red Riding Hood."
Baby Tarquin thinks this is perfect to wear to the Trick or Treat Puppet Show at the library on Oct. 29th at 1pm or to the Little Red School House's Toddler Play and Learn, the facilitated Play Group, that meets at the library every Wednesday morning at 10:30am. This is not only fun for Baby Tarquin, but his Mom and Dad can meet other parents of toddlers.
So according to Heidi Klum, we may either be "in" or "out," but one thing that is never "out" is your community library.
Gathering with your friends and neighbors for free quality library programming is never out of fashion.

Here's a taste: "One of life's little disappointments is the realization that your dogs don't really like dressing up in cute outfits."
